About Melanie Polley

Melanie was born into a family of psychics in 1960. Both her Grandmothers were Spiritualists and her parents and brother were aware of Spirit. Normal family games with her brother were Telepathy and Telekinesis.

She was brought up in Switzerland and later lived in Belgium as her father was in the diplomatic service. This allowed her to develop good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people from all walks of life and cultures.

Aware of her Guides from toddler-hood, Melanie’s ability to perceive Spirit People increased when the family moved into a haunted Essex farmhouse in the late 1960s.

It was her future husband, Martin, who brought her into Spiritualism, where she discovered a whole group of people who also could see, hear and sense Spirit People. This discovery was a great relief and she soon found herself sitting in a development circle. Trance happened almost immediately and within two years, Melanie was serving Churches in the U.K.

Thirty years later...

• - Melanie is a Spiritualist Minister of the United Spiritualists.
• - Melanie is a Registered Medium with the Holistic Healers Association, the United Spiritualists and the Institute of Spiritualist Mediums.
• - Melanie set up the Institute of Spiritualist Mediums Northamptonshire Branch in Bugbrooke as Area Representative and Branch Chairperson.
• - In the 90s, Melanie was Area Representative of the Noah’s Ark Society. Sadly, the organisation is no longer in existence.
• - She was the Chairperson of Spiritualist Aid and a Commitee Member of the Spirit of Youth.
• - She has been a Spiritualist Church Officer many times.
• - Melanie has been teaching within Spiritualism for 21 years.
• - She is a Healer Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, The United Spiritualists and The Holistic Healers Association.
